The Cambridgeshire Constabulary (UK) asks citizens how they would spend the police budget. From the FAQ : What’s the purpose of ‘Your Police Budget’? Balancing the budget means making choices between competing priorities. We created this online tool to demonstrate some of the difficult choices facing Cambridgeshire Police over the next few years. We are interested to know what choices you would make in order to balance the budget. What happens to the results? After you have submitted your response you can see a snapshot of the choices that other people have made so far. A summary of all submissions made will be presented to the Chief Constable and the Police Authority, who jointly hold the responsibility for deploying police resources and setting the budget. The site seems to run on a custom tool.
