This was a public consultation by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the British Red Cross marking the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions ran from 7 July to 12 August 2009. The public was invited to contribute towards an action plan, which has now been published on the website. Four broad themes were identified and the public was asked to comment on them.
