From the website: Did you know that St Kilda Adventure Playground is turning 30 in 2012? On 24 October it will be 30 years since the St Kilda Playground was opened by the then Mayor, Ron White. As a way of understanding what this iconic adventure playground means to the residents of not just the City of Salisbury but South Australia and beyond, we are collecting stories and pictures of childhood and parental memories of what it means to them. The project relied on social media channels Twitter (hashtag #stkildaplayground ), Facebook and Pinterest. From the Pinterest board : St Kilda Playground – Stories This is a collection of images and stories shared by the community about the iconic St Kilda Playground in South Australia which turns 30 in 2012. The memories have been collected through a poster campaign and via social media platforms such as Twitter (@cityofsalisbury – #stkildaplayground), Facebook and on Pinterest.
