The UK’s Department for International Development ( DFID ) held an online consultation that allowed members of the public to read and comment on their Southern African Regional Plan, helping them shape the way they work in the region from 2011 onwards. “The comments submitted will feed into a new five-year regional plan which we will publish later in 2010. The strategy will help refine government policy to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by 2015” The consultation closed January 19, 2010.
