The United States Agency for International Development ( USAID ) and the White House Open Government Initiative ( www.whitehouse.gov/open ) opened the discussion about USAID’s Open Government Plan to the public and asked for ideas to be included in a draft planning document. The platform closed commenting and rating of ideas on March 19 2010. The process will reopen on April 7 and allow for commenting on USAID’s draft document.
